Terms of use

Updated: 03/10/2026

1. Scope

OpenMember is the membership platform of Austrian Committee for NATO Enlargement. These terms apply to associations, organizations, and their authorized users.

2. Service

The platform provides membership management, fee billing, invoices, portals, and embedded signup forms. Active members can receive a weekly overview of new statements, articles, and events and can opt out in their profile or via the email link. The feature set may change over time.

3. Contract and account

A contract is formed when registration succeeds and the account is provided. Access credentials must be kept secure and shared only with authorized people.

4. Payments

Membership fees can be collected through Stripe and connected methods such as card or SEPA direct debit. The contracting party for the membership fee is usually the organization (Stripe Connect). Stripe’s own terms also apply to payment services.

5. Customer duties

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of organization, member, and payment data. Legal notices to their own members, tax requirements, and internal processes must be checked and followed by the customer.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee it at all times. Maintenance, security updates, and product changes can alter the service.

7. Liability

Liability follows the applicable law. For data loss, misconfiguration, or outages of external services such as Stripe, Supabase, or Resend, liability is limited to what the law allows.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@openmember.io.
